Use of the Site

This site is independently maintained, but with the express approval of the Sturt Football Club.

The site is a collection of photos of Sturt players from approximately 1993. Viewers may search for a player directly via the Player Search link in the menu bar above or by browsing the Current Players or Past Players summary view links. In addition to individual players, there are links for Finals Series and Groups.

All of the photos will appear first as 'thumbnails' on the screen. By clicking on any of the photos, a slide show view will pop up. You can use the 'previous' or 'next' links to move through the gallery or just simply click on the photo to advance to the next available one. The image quality of these is reduced compared to the full size photo.

To see a medium sized version of any photo, click on the link below the thumbnail image. This will take you to the photo's page. From here, you can view the full size version by clicking on the magnifying glass icon or 'View full size' link (opens in a new tab/window) above the photo. You can also right click on it and select 'save as' to save it in your desired folder. Depending on your connection speed, some files may take a short time to download.

Good quality images of up to A4 size should be possible with the file sizes of the photos. It is recommended to download the file to a disc and take that disc to a commercial photo lab for best print quality. Additional images, both past and present will be uploaded from time to time.

Use of the Photographs

Sturt supporters, the Sturt Football Club and interested viewers may download images without charge provided these images are not sold to third parties or reproduced without written permission.

Recognised media outlets and the SANFL may download and reproduce images for reporting purposes, without a fee, provided that the photographer is acknowledged: 'Photo – Scott Rickards'. Use for non-reporting purposes, such as books and posters must be negotiated with the photographer, who may be contacted via the Sturt Football Club.
